Schwannomas of the Paranasal Sinuses
Whereas the benefits of radiotherapy in treating schwannomas has previously gone unrecognized, this study by Dr. Rande Lazar, a Memphis, TN sinus surgeon, displays an example of a patient who underwent a regimen of surgery, radiotherapy and radon seed implants. Three years after the treatment began, the patient remains symptom-free.
